Inflammation causes Weight Gain

Image

Inflammation, as it concerns weight loss and what we eat, is a hot topic.  Can Inflammation cause weight gain? Through experimentation and food testing you might learn that “healthy” foods like salmon are having a negative impact on your body, while “unhealthy” foods like bread might not be as bad for YOU as you thought. Symptoms associated with inflammation include weight gain, bloating, flatulence, fatigue, joint pain and stiffness, memory problems, and mood swings. Here is a list of inflammation causing foods as found on Oprah’s website, produced by Dr. Perricone.  By the way, he also credits inflammation for speeding up the aging process.  If all that is not enough motivation to keep a food journal and experiment with your food  a bit I don’t  know what is!
